Often when recording, I stay for a long time at the same place, to listen, to gaze, sometimes I meditate, but more often I let my thoughts drift, and like a distant echo, I think of songs that prefigured the place where I find myself, that made me want to go there.
On the island of Gran Canaria I thought a lot about island and water songs, I inserted them in each title of this album, maybe they will find an echo also in the listener.

Souvent quand j'enregistre, je reste longtemps sur un même lieu, à écouter, à observer, parfois je médite, mais plus souvent je laisse mes pensées dériver, et comme un écho lointain, je pense à des chansons qui ont préfiguré le lieu où je me trouve, qui m’ont donné envie de m’y rendre.
Sur l'île de Gran Canaria j'ai beaucoup pensé à des chansons insulaires ou en lien avec l’eau, je les ai insérées dans chaque titre de cet album, peut-être trouveront-elles un écho aussi chez l'auditeur.
